Muzaffarpur : Liquor smugglers, in a daredevil act, made an abortive bid to eliminate Excise Superintendent, Muzaffarpur, Amit Kumar, by ramming his official vehicle Scorpio at a place at under Aurai police station in Muzaffarpur district when he along and with Excise department officials and force was chasing a truck carrying foreign liquor.
Although the Scorpio was damaged, Kumar, who had a narrow escape, and his associates managed to intercept the truck and seized 450 cartons of IMFL. The Excise department team also seized the truck, a pick-up van and van. The liquor was hidden beneath the cycle parts which the truck was carrying. The liquor smugglers, however, managed to escape.
I’m not sure exactly why but this site is
