New Delhi : Altogether 44,376 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in India during last 24 hours taking the tally to 92,22,216 cases recorded till date in the country. On the other hand, only 37.816 Covid-19 patients were declared cured/discharged during last 24 hours taking the tally to 86,42,771 at 8 am on November 25, 2020, exceeding the number of active cases (4,44,746) by massive margin of 81,98,025 on November 25, 2020.
Of the 92,22,216 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in the country, a total of 86,42,771 patients have been declared cured with the recovery rate being 93.72%. India has tested 13,48,41,307 samples so far including 11,59,032 samples on November 24, 2020. The number of active cases was 4.82% of the total cases recorded till date in the country on November 25, 2020, an addition of 6,079 cases during last 24 hours.
The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,34,699 in India on November 25, 2020, with 481 new deaths being recorded in the country during last 24 hours including 109 from Delhi, 49 from West Bengal, 33 from Uttar Pradesh, 33 from Haryana, 30 from Maharashtra, 24 from Kerala, 22 from Punjab, 21 from Chhattisgarh, 19 from Rajasthan, 17 from Tamilnadu, 17 from Karnataka, 16 from Gujarat, 14 from Odisha, 12 from Himachal Pradesh, 11 from Madhya Pradesh, 11 from Uttarakhand, 10 from J&K, 8 from Andhra Pradesh, and 6 from Bihar. The Case Fatality Rate was 1.46% in the country on November 25, 2020. India had recorded 480 new deaths on November 24, 2020.
