New Delhi : Altogether 42,033 COVID-19 patients were declared cured/discharged in India during last 24 hours taking the tally to 79,59,406 in the country at 8 am on November 10, 2020, exceeding the number of active cases (5,05,265) by a huge margin of 74,54,141. The country also recorded 38,073 new cases during last 24 hours taking the tally to 85,91,730 on November 10, 2020. The number of active cases was 5.88% of the total COVID -19 cases (85,91,730) recorded till date in the country, a drop of 4,408 cases.

Of the 85,91,730 COVID-19 cases recorded so far, a total of 79,59,406 patients have been declared cured with the recovery rate being 92.64%. India has tested 11,96,15,857 samples so far including 10,43,665 samples on November 9, 2020.

The COVID-19 toll increased to 1,27,059 in the country on November 10, 2020, with 448 new deaths being recorded during last 24 hours including 85 from Maharashtra, 71 from Delhi, 56 from West Bengal, 25 from Uttar Pradesh, 22 from Kerala, 17 from Chhattisgarh, 18 from Tamilnadu, 11 from Andhra Pradesh, 19 from Karnataka, 10 from Uttarakhand, 9 from Rajasthan, 8 from Jharkhand, 7 from Haryana, 7 from Bihar, and 6 from Madhya Pradesh. . The Case Fatality Rate was 1.48% in the country on November 10, 2020. India had recorded 490 new deaths the previous day.
