Patna : Covid-19 cases in Bihar increased to 2,62,668 on March 4, 2021, afternoon, as 40 more persons including 15 from Patna, 4 each from Madhubani and Munger, 3 from Gaya, and 2 each from Supaul and Gopalganj, tested positive for the pandemic on March 3, 2021. The active cases dropped to 347 in Bihar on March 4, 2021.
Of the 2,62,668 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,60,777 patients have been declared cured including 40 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 99.28 %. Bihar has tested 2,25,59,016 samples so far including 3,800 samples on March 3, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll rose to 1,543 in Bihar on March 4, 2021, with 1 new death being recorded in the state in last 24 hours in Bhagalpur. With it, the toll increased to 82 in Bhagalpur on March 4.
