Bagaha : Three suspected Maoists including Sub-Zonal Area Commander Alok Ram alias Vipul Ram, 25, a resident Pavitranagar in Sheohar district, were arrested from different places on December 25, 2018, by a special police team headed by  ASP (operations) D K Jha in ex-Mukhia of Gonauli panchayat Manoj Kumar Singh murder case.
SP, West Champaran district currently also holding charge of Bagaha police district, Jayant Kant, on December 26, 2018, said that, on a tip off, a police team led by ASP (operations) D K Jha conducted  raid at a hideout of Maoists and arrested  Sub- Zonal Area Commander, Alok alias Vipul Ram from Raghia Don.
Alok alias Vipul Ram, in his confessional statement, said  that two others: Chanchal Kushwaha and Mahesh Oraon of village Sheonaha under Valmikinagar police station, were also involved in former Mukhia Manoj Kumar Singh murder case. Police arrested both of them from village Sheonaha, the SP added. Former Mukhia Manoj Kumar Singh was killed on May 12, 2018, at village Malakauli under Valmikinagar police station, the SP said.
