Muzaffarpur : Three children of a school teacher at Kanti in Muzaffarpur district Rajiv Bhushan Bharti of village Bakatpur under Kanti police station drowned to death in a pond on June 16, 2017, evening. The villagers fished out the bodies late on June 16 night. Police and local say the children drowned in the pond while taking bath in the evening. Of the three children, two were boys while the third was a girl.
In a similar incident at Bhatthi Chowk in Ahiyapur Panchayat under Sahaebganj police station in Muzaffarpur district a seven year old girl Dipa, daughter of Bachcha Rai, too drowned to death in a pond on June 16.
