Patna : Covid-19 cases rose to 2,61,646 on February 12, 2021, afternoon, as 78 more persons including 20 from Patna, 10 from Gaya, 7 from Muzaffarpur, 5 each from Begusarai and Saran, 4 each from Madhubani and Saharsa, and 3 each from Bhagalpur and Sheohar, tested positive for the pandemic on February 11, 2021.
Of the 2,61,646 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,59,433 patients have been declared cured including 86 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.15%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 690 on February 12, 2021. The state has tested 21877920 samples so far including 65,239 samples on February 11, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,522 in Bihar on February 12, 2021, with one new death being recorded in Patna in last 24 hours. With it, the toll increased to 430 in Patna on February 12, 2021.
