Patna : Covid-19 cases rose to 2,61,246 in Bihar on February 6, 2021, afternoon, as 88 more persons including 33 from Patna, 8 from Vaishali, 7 from Kaimur, 4 each from Aurangabad and Samastipur, 3 each from Arwal, Bhagalpur, Purnia, and Sheohar, and 2 each from Begusarai, East Champaran, Saran, and Siwan, tested positive for the pandemic on February 5, 2021.
Of the 2,61,246 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,58,841 patients have been declared cured including 84 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.08%. The number of active cases was 889 in Bihar on February 6, 2021. Bihar has tested 2,14,58,338 samples so far including 74,464 samples on February 5, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,515 in Bihar on February 6, 2021, with 1 new death being recorded in the state in Patna in last 24 hours. With it, the toll increased to 425 in Patna on February 6, 2021.
