Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,50,995 on December 27, 2020, afternoon, as 545 more persons including 275 from Patna, 30 from Muzaffarpur, and 27 from Saran, tested positive to the pandemic on December 26, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 21 persons from Nalanda, 13 each from Begusarai, Jehanabad, and Vaishali, 12 from Gaya, 11 each from Madhubani and Siwan, 10 from Banka, 8 each from Saharsa and Sitamarhi, 7 each from Katihar, Bhagalpur, and Lakhisarai, and 6 from Gopalganj, also tested positive to Covid-19 on December 26, 2020.
Of the 2,50,995 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar, altogether 2,44,688 patients have been declared cured including 703 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 97.49%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 4,923 on December 27, 2020. The state has tested 1,79,02,025 samples so far including 1,14,214 samples on December 26, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,383 in Bihar on December 27, 2020, with 4 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including one each from Patna, Bhagalpur, Buxar, and Nalanda. The toll increased to 374 in Patna and 76 in Bhagalpur on December 27, 2020.
