24 naxalites surrender in Sheohar district

Muzaffarpur : In a major development, 24 naxalites surrendered before Sheohar DM and SP on February 13, 2017, Sheohar to join the mainstream of the society.achieve This is a major achievement of Sheohar district administration.

Sheohar DM Raj Kumar and SP Prakash Nath Mishra administered them oath that henceforth they would remain in the mainstream. These Maoists were absconding for the past several years. Eighteen of these naxalites belong to Sheohar district, a small district in North Bihar. The naxalites, who surrendered on February 13, included Rambabu Sahni, Bharat Manjhi, Harendra Das, Shyambabu Sahni, Gorakh Sahni,Vinod Sahni, Dipak Sah, Chandrika Sah, Dipak Kumar Paswan.

Sheohar is a naxal infested district of Bihar. Earlier, 17 naxalites had surrendered before Sheohar administration at Belwa in 2016.
