Patna : The COVID-19 cases climbed to 2,23,477 in Bihar on November 9, 2020, afternoon, as 865 more persons including 432 from Patna, 110 from Muzaffarpur, and 68 from Begusarai, tested positive to COVI-19 on November 8, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 18 persons from Nawada, 17 from Madhubani, 13 from Nalanda, 13 from Siwan, 13 from Supaul, 12 from Madhepura,12 from West Champaran,  11 from Gopalganj, 11 from Bhagalpur, 10 from Munger, 10 from Purnia, and 9 from Kishanganj, also tested positive to COVID-19 on November 8, 2020.

Of the 2,23,477 COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,15,587 patients have been declared cured including 851 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 96.47%. Bihar has tested 1,21,05,731 samples so far including 1,15,934 samples on November 8, 2020. The number of active cases was 6,738 in Bihar on November 9, 2020.

The COVID-19 toll jumped to 1,151 in Bihar on November 9, 2020, with 7 new deaths being reported during last 24 hours including 4 from Patna, 2 from Saran, and one from Madhepura. The toll increased to 283 in Patna on November 9.2020.
