Patna : Notorious gangster Muchkund Sharma was killed in an encounter with a Patna Police and STF team on December 13, 2018. Muchkund, a resident of village Chechaul under Naubatpur police station in Patna district, carried a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head.
Police sources said that an encounter ensued between notorious gangster Muchkund and STF team in Danapur on December 13, 2018, late evening. STF men and police team retaliated gunning down Muchkund on the spot. Some arms
have been recovered from the spot. SSP, Patna, Manu Maharaaj confirmed the killing of notorious gangster in an encounter.
It may be mentioned here that Muchkund had gunned down a medicine trader Deepu this year in Patna district and was also involved in the murder of PAACS Chairman at Piro in Bhojpur district. He had unleashed a rein of terror by demanding
extortion from businessmen. Some members of Muchkund gang had recently gunned down a police constable Mukesh in New By Pass locality, :Patna, and police headquarters had directed STF and Patna Police to eliminate this gang.
