Sitamarhi : Thakur Chandan Singh, a senior advocate of Sitamarhi court and national president of Bharatiya Kranti Shanti Party, is on fast unto death since November 30, 2018, at SRK Goenka College, Sitamarhi town, in support of his charter of demands including early appointment of Assistant Professors in state universities and colleges. His health has started deteriorating.
A group of district officials visited SRK Goenka College and persuaded him to end his fast but in vain. A group of doctors too visited the place. Several social and political groups support have supported Thakur Chandan Singh’s demands. The college administration is quite concerned about Thakur’s deteriorating health.
