Muzaffarpur : Police have taken six suspects under their custody in connection with dacoity at Sakri Saraiya branch of Bank of India under Saraiya police station in Muzaffarpur district on August 3, 2018, and interrogating them.
About 8 unidentified criminals with their faces masked had looted Rs 3.6 lakh cash from the bank at gun points after taking 10 bank employees and 15 customers as hostage in broaddaylight on August 3, 2018. SSP, Muzaffarpur, Harpreet Kaur, said that combing operation was on to arrest the criminals involved in the cash loot from the bank. An SIT is investigating into the incident.
