Patna : World N0. 41 Lee Cheuk Yiu, Hongkong, upset World N0. 16 in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings B Sai Praneeth, India, the 2nd seed, in quarter-finals of the Australion Open Badminton at Sydney on May 11, 2018. Yiu beat Pranneeth 23-21, 21-13, in 43 minutes to enter the semi-finals of the tournament. Sameer Verma, India, also lost in the quarter-finals.
