Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : DPS Bokaro on March 18, 2018, conducted an Educators Development Programme for Teachers to increase their Creativity, Critical Thinking, Capacity Building, Personal Effectiveness and Relationship Building.
The day long workshop was conducted by Surya Narain Bahadur, a Transformation Enabler, Resource Person and Corporate Trainer. He focused on bringing valuable learning outcomes from the participating educators’ who play an influential role in the entire process of education. The resource person created an interesting lively atmosphere through anecdotes and videos while delivering his speech which kept the participants engrossed.
Chief Learning Officer of DPS Bokaro, Hemlata S Mohan said, “The objective of such workshops is to reinforce Creativity and Critical Thinking, the two aspects of learning which evolves in a conducive and pleasant atmosphere depending on the relationship between a teacher and students. Creativity is to add aesthetics to the curriculum through a beautiful imagination while Critical thinking puts ideas into action. If a teacher’s self-esteem, confidence, communication skills and time management is effective, the learning becomes interesting and purposeful.” The teachers from various Sahodaya Schools of Bokaro attended the programme.
