Begusarai : Begusarai district administration has initiated action against 28,500 persons who had not constructed houses under Indira Awas Yojna (IAY) despite receiving the fund for the same. Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) Kanchan Kapoor said that 19,761 beneficiaries had been served on White notice by the respective Block Development Officer (BDOs) while another 7,955 beneficiaries had been served on Red notice. The district administration has also submitted auction letter against 812 beneficiaries.
