Bagaha : Two persons sustained serious injuries and were admitted to Medical College Hospital, Gorakhpur, UP, after
a quarrel between two persons took violent turn on February 7 at village Pathakauli under the same police station under Bagaha sub- division in West Champaran district.
Police sources said that one Munna Jaiswal, 35, son of Hira Jaisawal, of Pathakauli village was going to drop his children to school on a motorbike but was dashed by a loaded cane cart  on the way.  Cartpuller Umesh Yadav of Sukhawan village and Jaisawal had fisticuffs but the matter subsided
But, when the information reached Umesh’s village Sukhawan, about a dozen musclemen carrying sticks and arms  attacked Munna Jaisawal house and started beating him. Hearing scream of Munna Jaiswal, his neighbourer Soni Pathak, 28, son of Badyanath Pathak, reached to rescue him but he too sustained serious head injuries and both were referred to Medical College Hospital, Gorakhpur.
Pathakauli police station SHO Subhas Mukhiya said that a case was lodged with the police station in this regard and one Sipahi Yadav was arrested.
