Muzaffarpur : About 2.62 lakh Primary and Middle school students in Muzaffarpur district will not get uniform and scholarship for want of 75 % attendance made mandatory to check irregularity in the name distribution of uniform and scholarship amount.
The district education office had sent the list of altogether 10 lakh students from Standard I to Standard VIII to the government but only 7.38 lakh students would get uniform and scholarship amount. The District Education Officer (DEO), Muzaffarpur, said that the amount would be released only after taking signature of the students concerned besides their physical verification.
I learned this the hard way on a trip where I tried to pack every day with activities and barely remembered any of it afterward. Leaving a little unplanned time ended up leading to the best moments, like stumbling into a tiny café and chatting with the owner.
