Police inspector arrested taking bribe in Madhubani

Madhubani: A state vigilance investigation bureau team on December 3, 2016, arrested a Circle police inspector of Benipatti in Madhubani district Vinod Kumar red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 11,000 from a person to do him a favour in a case. Vigilance  veam was headed by DSP P N Singh. A native of village Durgapatti under Madhvapur police station in Madhubani district Awadhesh Mishra had lodged a complaint with the vigilance bureau headquarters at Patna alleging that Inspector Vinod Kumar was asking for bribe from him in a case. Awadhesh has long drawn dispute with his brother. He had lodged a case of assault on him with the local police. Vinod Kumar had asked for bribe to give his supervision note.
