Patna : The COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar climbed to 2,12,192 on October 25, 2020, afternoon, as 749 more persons including 238 from Patna, 60 from Muzaffarpur, 38 from Nalanda, and 30 from East Champaran, tested positive to it on October 24, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 25 persons from Bhagalpur, 25 from Purnia, 24 from Jehanabad, 22 from Katihar, 21 from Munger, 19 from Aurangabad, 18 from Kishanganj, 16 from Araria, 13 from Madhubani, 12 from Madhepura, 12 from Vaishali, and 12 from Bhojpur, also tested positive to COVID-19 on October 24, 2020.
Of the 2,12,192 COVID-19 cases recorded till date in Bihar, a total of 2,00,920 patients have been declared cured including 1,399 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 94.69%. The state has tested 1,00,99,322 samples crossing 1 crore mark so far including 1,39,218 samples on October 24, 2020. The number of active cases in the state 10,229 on October 25, 2020.
The COVID-19 toll jumped to 1,049 on October 25, 2020, with 7 new deaths being reported in the state during last 24 hours including 3 from Patna and one each from Arwal, East Champaran, Purnia, and . The toll jumped to 259 in Patna on October 25, 2020.
