2001 batch IAS officer promoted to Secretary rank

Patna : Mayank Varwade, a Bihar cadre IAS officer of 2001 batch who is currently on inter-cadre deputation to Chhattisgarh, has been given proforma promotion to Secretary rank ( Selection Grade scale) with effect from January 1, 2018. The General Administration Department, Bihar Government, issued a notification to this effect on Januar 2. It may be recalled here that three Bihar cadre IAS officers of 2002 batch including Sanjay Kumar Agarwal were promoted to Secretary rank on December 31, 2017, evening.
