Saharsa : A police team headed by SDPO, Sadar, Prabhakar Tiwary, arrested two notorious criminals : Ganga Sharma and Mohan Sharma, at the tri-junction on Korlahi bypass under Sadar police station, Saharsa, on August 31, 2018, morning, when they were planning a major crime. Both the arrested criminals were wanted in several cases. SHO, Sadar police station, R K Singh, and SHO, Town police station, were also part of police team which arrested Ganga Sharma and Manoj Sharma.
Police seized a Desi loaded pistol, 2 Desi Katta, 16 live rounds, and two mobile phones from their possession. Police also seized their bike. The two criminals were arrested following a secret information received by SP, Saharsa, Rakesh Kumar. A police team is interrogating the two criminals.
Saharsa SP Rakesh Kumar said that both the arrested criminals are history-sheeters involved in cases of extortion, loot, and Arms Act. The SP said that the two criminals had admitted their involvement in loot at Flipcart Agency at Saharsa in July 2018.
