Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, searched a Scorpio parked near Navodaya Chowk at Bihia under Bihia police station on June 15, 2017, and seized 786 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and also arrested two liquor smugglers.
Police also seized the Scorpio and two mobiles. The arrested liquor smugglers were identified as Ratan Singh, 26 son of Satyaveer Singh of village Rauna under Kharkhoda police station in Sonipat district in Haryana, and Raju Kumar, 26, son of Navratan of Jhajhar district in Haryana. An FIR was lodged with Bihia police station under New Excise Act. Later, the police forwarded them to jail.
