2 killed, 6 injured in Bagaha road mishap

Bagaha :Two pilgrims including a child were killed and six others were injured when a tractor trolley carrying them turned turtle on Done canal near village Lakshmipur under Semara police station in Bagaha police district on February 3, 2019, evening.

SHO, Semara police station, Dushyant Kumar, said that the tractor trolley carrying over a dozen pilgrims who were going to Valmikinagar to take holy dip in river Narayani on the occasion of mauni Amawasya suddenly turned turtle after the driver lost control over the vehicle.

Birbasani Patel of Sheorajpur under Bhairoganj police station died on spot while his son Danni Kumar, 12, died on way to the hospital. Six women including Durgawati Devi, Daya Devi, and Fulbadan Devi, sustained serious injuries and were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Dr SP Agarwal, Deputy Superintendent, Sub-Divisional Hospital, Bagaha, said that injured were under treatment and out of danger.
