2 IAS officers promoted to Secretary rank

Patna : Bihar Government on January 2, 2019, granted proforma promotion to 2002 IAS officer M Sarwanan and 2003 batch IAS officer Vandana Preyasi to Secretary rank in the Selection Grade payscale. Both the officers are at present on central deputation.  Sarwanan has been promoted to Secretary rank with effect from January 4, 2018. Vandana Preyasi has been promoted to Secretary rank with effect from January 1, 2019. The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on January 2, 2019.
