2 Chief Engineers, 1 SE, 5 EEs of WRD found absent during cellphone tracking

Patna : Two Chief Engineers (CEs), a Superintending Engineer (SE), and five Executive Engineers (EEs) of Water Resources Department (WRD) were found absent from their respective places of posting during a random cellphone tracking carried out by Joint Secretary-cum-Director, Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation, Gorakhnath, on November 15, 2018. The WRD has decided to take stern action against these engineers.

The two CEs found absent in mobile tracking were Kumar Jayant Prasad, Chief Engineer, Overall Plan Invention and Project Preparation, Patna, and Rameshwar Chaudhary, Chief Engineer, Irrigation Creation, Dehri. Shafi Ahmad, SE, Irrigation Circle, Saharsa, was also found absent from his place of posting, according to a press release issued by the WRD.

The five Executive Engineers found absent from their places of posting were : Satish Kumar Verma, EE, Tirhut Canal Division, Bettiah,  Sudhir Kumar Sinha, EE, Tirhut Canal Division, Goroul, Sudhir Kumar Singh, EE, Irrigation Division, Laxmipur, Hari Basant, EE, Durgawati Works Division, Chenari, and Nawal Kishore Bharti, EE,  North Koel Embankment & Barrage Division, Mohammadganj.
