Buxar : Under mounting police pressure, two accused in Niranjanpur shoot out incident on November 22, 2020, in Buxar District, surrendered before a Buxar Court on December 20, 2020. Later, they were sent to jail under judicial custody.
SHO, Buxar Industrial police station (PS), Dinesh Malakar, said that two groups had clashed in Niranjanpur Gadaha locality under Industrial PS on November 22, 2020, for a motorcycle. Members of one group later attacked the house of a member of another group. A named FIR was lodged against five persons : Ravi Chandan Singh, Sonu Singh, sons of Anil Singh, Seraz Siddiqui alias Pali, Idani Khan, and Anup Choubey.
After institution of FIR, police started conducting raids to arrest the named accused. Under mounting police pressure, Seraz Siddiqui alias Pali and Idani Khan alias Tauqir surrendered before a Buxar Court on December 20, 2020. The SHO said that police would arrest the remaining three named accused within two days.
