Muzaffarpur: The two-day Bihar State Wushu Tournament got underway at Muzaffarpur on Friday. Tirhut division commissioner Atul Prasad inaugurated the tournament in the presenc of several district administration officials and sportspersons. Altogether 18 teams are participating in the tournament being held on international Woshu platform. The cost of this international platformis Rs 40 lakh and it was imported from China by the state goverment in 2013, said international coach and refree Dinesh Mishra. The tournament is being held in Muzaffarpur for the first time, he said and added that this international Wushu platform would remain at Muzaffarpur stadium.
