New Delhi : A total of 17,407 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in India in last 24 hours taking the tally to 1,11,56,923 cases in the country at 8 am on March 4, 2021. On the other hand, 14,031 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / discharged in India in last 24 hours taking the tally to 1,08,26,075 in the country on March 4, 2021.
Of the 1,11,56,923 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in India, altogether 1,08,26,075 patients have been declared cured with the recovery rate (RR) dropping to 97.03%. The active cases (1,73,413) accounted for 1.55 % of the total cases (1,11,56,923) on March 4, 2021, an increase of 3,287 cases in last 24 hours. India has tested 21,91,78,908 samples so far including 7,75,631 samples on March 3, 2021. Meanwhile, a total of 1,66,16,048 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in the country so far including 9.94,452 beneficiaries on March 3, 2021.
The Covid-19 climbed to 1,57,435 in India on March 4, 2021, with 89 new deaths being recorded in the country in last 24 hours including 42 In Maharashtra, 15 in kerala, 12 in Punjab, 4 in Chhattisgarh, 3 in Karnataka, 3 in Delhi, 2 in Tamilnadu, 2 in West Bengal, and 1 in Bihar. India had recorded 98 new deaths on March 3, 2021.
