New Delhi : The number of Coronqvirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured rose to 1,69,797 in India at 8 am on June 15, 2020, an increase of 7,419 during last 24 hours. In Maharashtra alone, 50,978 patients have been cured followed by 24,547 in Tamilnadu, 16,325 in Gujarat, 15,823 in Delhi, 9,566 in Rajasthan, 8,268 in UP, 7,677 in Madhya Pradesh, 5,060 in West Bengal, 4,170 in Bihar, 3,955 in Karnataka, and 905 in Jharkhand.
The recovery rate exceeds 50.60%. This indicates that of all the cases of COVID-19, half of them have recovered from the disease. Timely case identification and proper clinical management has been the road to recovery. The number of active cases stands at 1,53, 106.
Coronavirus death too has jumped to 9,520 in India with 325 new deaths being reported from differents parts of the country during last 24 hours with Maharashtra reporting 120 new deaths while Delhi reported 56 new deaths.
