11 packets of Heroin seized in Bhojpur, one held

Ara : Bhojpur police seized 11 packets of Heroin and arrested a drug smuggler near village Laxmanpur Mathia under Ara Muffassil Police Station  on April 18, 2017, when he was  puffing the drug after selling it.

SDPO Sanjay Kumar said that he sent a team to Laxmanpur Mathia village under Ara Muffassil Police Station on a tip off, and the police team arrested a drug smuggler Munna Yadav, son of Bijay Yadav of village Daultpur Balua under Ara Muffasil Police Station and also seized 11 packets of Heroin from his possession. Munna Yadav told police that he had purchased Heroin from one Guddu near Gangi under Town Police Station, ra,  to sell it at village Laxmanpur Mathia.

The SDPO said that Gangi area has developed as a drug hub and its kingpin Chhathu Paswan had already been arrested and lodled in Ara jail but still a number of drug smugglers are quite active in the area and police were trying to get from Munna Yadav the names of such drug smugglers.
