1,000 bottles of IMFL, Pick-Up van, bike seized at Buxar

Buxar : The sleuth of Prohibition & Excise Department seized 1,000 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) packed in 40 cartons and also seized a Pick-Up van and a motorcycle from near a poultry farm at village Kulharia under Buxar Town police station around April 26, 2019, midnight.  A named FIR was lodged with Buxar Town police station against owner and the driver of the Pick-Up van.

Neeraj Kumar Ranjan, Excise Superintendent, said that he got information that a big consignment of IMFL had reached Buxar for sale during parliamentary elections after which a team of Prihibition & Excise Department conducted raids and found a Pick-Up van parked near the poultry farm at village Kulharia. When searched, 1000 bottles of IMFL packed in 40 cartons were seized. The Prohibition & Excise Department team also seized a motorcycle from the spot.
