Nawada: Ten automatic pistols with spare magazines, which were to be supplied to anti-social and
criminal elements Maoists not excluded in Dhanbad, were seized on April 19, 2017, in a joint operation conducted by Patna and Nawada police.
Nawada police said the pistols were recovered from one Ash Mohammad alias Bablu, son of late Lal Mohammad of Mirzapur Bardha locality under Mufassil PS of Munger district. Incidentally, Ash
Mohammad is a habitual offender as he was also earlier jailed for similar offence a few years ago. Following a tip-off, a joint team of Patna STF and Nawada Mufassil police arrested the criminal near Kharat Mor on the border of Nawada-Nalanda district.
