Ara : One person was killed while four others were injured when a speeding truck dashed against an auto-rickshaw and a tractor near village Dharahara on Bihia Chaurasta-Bihata SW 102 under Bihia police station (PS) in Bhojpur District on January 11, 2022, late evening. The tractor and auto-rickshaw were smashed in the accident. The front wheel of the truck detached from the truck and damaged a roadside makeshift shop. The deceased was yet to be identified.
The injured were identified as Bhuwar Yadav of Lalchak village and Judge Yadav of Sihvatana village in neighbouring Buxar District, Sanjay Kumar Singh of village Dahigana in Rohtas District, and Tuntun Yadav, son of Naga Yadav of Khadara village under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur District. The driver and the cleaner of the truck escaped from the place after the accident.
SHO, Bihia PS, said that a speeding truck from Bihia dashed against an auto-rickshaw of Tifani Ram alias Bhuwar of Dharahara village parked at Bihia Chaurasta and then it collided head-on with a paddy loaded tractor in which tractor was completely smashed and one person was killed and four others on tractor injured and even the truck was damaged in the collision. The wheel of the truck detached and damaged a makeshift shop of Satyanarayan Verma of Doghara village on the roadside.
