Ara : Some unidentified miscreants shot at and injured a youth near village Sedaha on Kosdihara road under Tarari police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on January 11, 2022, late night, when he was returning home with his friends on a motorcycle from a party. The injured has been identified as Nikhil Kumar, 18, son of Krishna Ranjan Singh of village Sedaha. He was admitted to a private hospital at Bikramganj in Rohtas District.
SHO, Tarari PS, said that Nikhil Kumar along with his two friends had gone to village Baksanda to attend a party there. They were returning on a motorcycle around 10.30 pm. When they reached near village Sedaha. two motorcycle borne masked miscreants were seen on Kosdihara road. The miscreants signaled them to stop the motorcycle but they accelerated the speed and tried to reach their native village when the miscreants fired on them and a bullet hit Nikhil Kumar, who was pillion rider.
Piro SDPO Rahul Singh said that police are investigating the matte. He also said that patrolling has been intensified in the area.
