Muzaffarpur : Two suspected cases of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES), both girls aged five and seven years respectively, were admitted to Sri Krishna Medical College Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, on May 3, 2017, night. One of the girls belongs to Vaishali district while the other girl hails from Sitamarhi district, both in North Bihar. Superintendent, SKMCH, Dr G K Thakur, said that both the patients were undergoing specialised treatment. Two children have already died due to AES and Japanese Encephalitis (JE) at SKMCH in 2017.
