Patna : Second seed & World No 4 Alexander Zverev, 24, Fermany, advanced to the semi-finals of Erste Bank Open ( Vienna Open), an ATP 500 indoor hardcourts tennis tournament at Vienna, Austria, France, on October 29, 2021, late night, defeating 6th seed Felix Auger-Aliassime, 21, Canada, in a three-set thriller in quarter-final.
Zverev, the reigning Olympic champion, beat World No 12 Aliassime 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in 2hr 5 minutes in QF. Zverev won 2 break points during the match to 1 by the Canadian.
