Patna : Second seed Alexander Zverev, 23, Germany, won the ATP Mexican Open singles title at Acapulco, Mexico, on March 21, 2021, defeating to seed Stefanos Tsitsipas, 22, Greece, in the final. World No 7 Zverev beat World No 5 Tsitsipas in straight sets 6-4, 7-6 in 2hrs 18 minutes in the final to win the title and 500 ATP Rankings points. Tsitsipas secured 300 Rankings points. It was Zverev’s 14th ATP singles title.
