Patna : Replying to Afghanistan’s massive 545/4 declared, Zimbabwe were all out for 287 in 91.3 overs in their first innings in 3rd session of play on Day 3 on March 12, 2021, in 2nd test with Sikardar Raza scoring 85 in 129 balls with 7 fours and 1 six and opener Prince Masvaure scoring 65 in 143 balls with 5 fours.

Opener Kevin Kasuza and Tarisai Musakanda scored 41 each while captain Sean Williams scored 8 runs.  Openers Prince Masauvre and Kevin Kasuza  added 91 runs for the first wicket. Spinner Rashid Khand took 4/138 in 36.3 overs while Amir Hamza, a leg spinner, took 3/73 in 32 overs. Medium fast bowler Sayed Shirzad took 2/48 in 18 overs.

Asked to follow on, Zimbabwe were 24/0 in 13 overs in their 2nd innings at stumps on Day 3 with openers Prince Masvaure and Kevin Kasuza unbeaten on 3 and 20 runs respectively.  Zimbabwe trail by 234 runs. Zimbabwe lead the two-match test series 1-0.
