Patna : Top seed and World No 86 in WTA rankings Tamara Zidansek, 20, Slovenia, beat 4th seed Karman Kaur Thandi, 20, India, in the final on December 1, 2018, to win the singles title at BVG Pune Open ITF Women’s Championship at Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune.

Zidansek beat World No 219 Karman Kaur Thandi in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 to win the singles title. Thandi had defeated World No 213 Ankita Raina, 25, India, in three-sets in the semi-finals on November 30, 2018. Thandi and Raina won the doubles title.
