Ara : Some unidentified miscreants shot dead a youth on July 15, 2020, late evening, near Kadara Math under Dhobaha police outpost in Bhojpur District.
Police recovered the body on July 16, 2020, morning, and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. The villagers blocked the road with the body raising slogans against the district administration. The blockade was lifted after positive response from the police officials. The deceased was identified as Rakesh Gosai, 20, son of Ashok Gosai of Bhadeya village under Dhobaha police outpost.
SHO, Dhobaha police outpost, Laxmi Patel said that Rakesh Gosai of Bhadeya village had gone to Ara on July 15, 2020. When he was returning to his native village on his motorcycle in the late evening, some unidentified armed miscreants pumped bullet into his head from point blank range killing him on the spot. When the villagers saw the body lying in a pool of blood on road saround midnight, they became agitated and blocked the road demanding presence of senior officials of the district on the spot . On getting information, police rushed to the spot.
