Bhabhua : Police recovered body of a youth from a forest of Jamuni Nar under Adhaura police station (PS) in Kaimur District in South Bihar and brought it over to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem on December 16, 2021, night.
The deceased was identified as Jang Bahadur alias Tishu Paswan, son of Gulab Paswan of village Todi in Kaimur District. An FIR has been lodged with Adhauri PS in this connection and olice are investigating the matter.
SHO, Adhauri PS, Amod Kumar, said that Jung Bahadur alias Tishu Paswan had gone to Jamuni Nar Jungle on December 16, 2021, night. But, some unidentified armed miscreants shot him dead between Gudari and Jamuni Nar. Several criminal cases were pending against him with ifferent police station in Rohtas and Kaimur districts, the SHO added. He had been in jail in Rohtas District for dealing in liquor.
Gulab Paswan, father of the deceased, said that when he came home after day long work, a call on mobile came around 8 pm and his son went out of the house immediately but did not return home. He stated that the locals informed him about his murder. He said that Jung Bahadur was married to Jyoti Kumari of village Mahaiya under Chenari PS on May 21, 2021.
