Ara : Some armed miscreant shot dead a youth at village Pandeypatti under Buxar Muffassil police station in Buxar district on August 4, 2019.
Police brought the body over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR was lodged with Buxar Muffassil police station but no arrest has so far been made in this regard. Personal enmity is said to be the cause behind the incident. Ppolice are conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. The deceased was identified as Kanhaiya Yadav of Pandeypatti village.
SHO, Buxar Muffassil police station, said that Kanhaiya Yadav had a heated exchange with some youth of the village two days ago and they scuffled with him and had threatened him with dire consequences. The SHO said that on August 4 morning some armed miscreants came when Kanhaiya Yadav was sitting near a temple of the village and shot at and injured him and escaped. He succumbed to his injuries on way to Buxar Sadar Hospital.
