Saharsa : Bike borne criminals shot at and seriously injured Prince Kumar, 18, a Class XII student, in broad daylight outside his rented house near Dumrail Chowk under Sadar Police Station, Saharsa, in Saharsa District, on January 2, 2018, and escaped unchallenged. Prince Kumar was standing outside his house when the bike borne criminals reached there and fired on him. The incident has created panic in the area.

Prince Kumar is a native of village Paharpur under Simri-Bakhtiarpur police station in Saharsa district. An injured Prince Kumar has been admitted to a private Nursing Home at Saharsa where his condition is stated to be critical. SDPO, Saharsa, Prabhakar Tiwary said that three accused had been identified and police were conducting raids to arrest them. He said that prima facie it appears to be a case of personal enmity but things would be clear after investigation.
