Ara : Two armed miscreants shot at and injured a youth at village Pachrukhia under Hasan Bazaar police outpost in Bhojpur District on August 17, 2021, morning. He was admitted to Piro Sub-Divisional Hospital but the doctor referred him to Ara Sadar Hospital for better treatment. The injured youth has been identified as Durga Sah, son of late Lal Mohar Sah of Pachrukhia village.
SHO, Hasan Bazaar police outpost, Shivendra Kumar, said that some miscreants had killed Lal Mohar Sah a year ago in a dispute over a piece of land and a named FIR was lodged with police in this connection and the named accused were putting pressure on Durga Sah, son of the deceased, to withdraw the case.
On August 17, 2021, two motorcycle borne persons reached Pachrukhia and asked Moti Sah, father of late Lal Mohar Rai, when he was going to his field, to withdraw the case. When he protested, the miscreants thrashed him. Seeing this, Durga Sah came to the rescue of his grandfather. Suddenly, one of them them shot at and injured Durga Sah. The SHO said that an FIR has been lodged in this connection and police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
