Ara : A case of outraging modesty of a teenage girl by a youth after promising to marry her has come to light after a named FIR was lodged with Sahar police station against the youth Md Azaharuddin, son of Md Kalim, on the statement of the girl on July 7, 2017. Later, the matter was transferred to the Woman Police Station but no arrest has so far been made in this regard. Police brought the girl over to Ara Sadar Hospital for her medical examination.
SHO, Sahar police station, Sanjay Kumar said that the girl, a resident of village, Aabgila under Sahar police station fell in love with Md Azaharuddin, son of Md Kalim of the village. Md Azaharuddin promised to marry her and outraged her modesty several times and when she pressurized him to tie nuptial knot, he refused and also switched off his mobile and escaped from the village. When the family members of the girl met the family members of Md Azaharuddin to tell them the story, they were shooed away.
