Gopalganj: Some persons led by one Sufyan Khan attacked a youth Tiger Singh and dumped him in a serious condition on the road close to village Khajuri under Kuchaikot police station on Saturday. An FIR hasn lodged against seven persons in this connection on the statement of the injured youth.
Police said that the incident took place when Tiger Singh was on way to his brother’s in-laws’ house. He was waylaid by some persons led by Khan, who attacked Singh with rods and sharpedged weapons, causing serious injuries to him. The attackers thought that Singh had died hence left him there and escaped.Hearing the screams of injured Singh, some villagers reached there and admitted him to Primary Health Centre, Kuchaikot.
