Ara : A youth was crushed to death under the wheels of a running train near Mahatwania Halt between Ara-Karisath railway stations under Danapur Division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, on November 2, 2019.
The deceased was identified as Anil Kumar, son of Kameshwar Singh of Asani village under Udwantnagar police station. Later, the Government Railway Police, Ara, brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
SHO, GRP, Ara, said that Anil Kumar was coming to Ara from his village for shopping when he came under the wheel of a running train while crossing the railway track near Mahatwania Halt between Ara-Karisath railway stations.
