Youth dies in accident at Ara

Ara : Kusha Kumar, 16, who was seriously injured in an accident at Ara on December 26, 2017, afternoon, succumbed to his injuries on way to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), in the evening. Police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

Kush Kumar, son of Arun Kumar of village Korandihari under Sahar police station in Bhojpur district, lived at a rented house at Bank Colony under Nawada police station, Ara. He was returning from tuition on his bicycle. But, when he reached near overbridge, a speeding truck dashed his bicycle injuring him seriously. The locals rushed him to Ara Sadar Hospital in the afternoon on December 26 but the doctors there referred him to PMCH in view of his critical condition. Police seized the truck.
